2007 New Mexico Music Awards winner for Best Packaging and Best Rock-Alternative song (”Safety Net”).

Man Born Blind is an independent rock group based out of Albuquerque, New Mexico. Man Born Blind’s music has drawn comparisons to acoustic, surf, and alternative genres of music.

Man Born Blind has received attention opening for national acts such as The Calling, Howie Day, and recently signed Soular. Man Born Blind’s self-titled debut album, released in 2006, includes the song “Safety Net,” which was featured in the soundtrack for the independent film, “The Face of Joe the Killer.” Man Born Blind first appeared on the College Music Journal charts in 2005, as well as receiving airplay on more than 130 US college radio stations.
